While they have their own history and their own stars, there are few who found success outside. A jobber for the WWWF in the early '70s, Crusher Verdu was mostly regulated to the under card even though he tangled with Sammartino at Madison Square Garden during his time in the organization. Verdu, billed from Spain, relied on his burly chest to look like a pro wrestler.
